That quote is SO true. I lost my husband last October. My life is much the same and at the same time, so different. I've learned to do the yard work and love it. I'm enjoying the freedom of being single, while still missing him to talk to often.

You've gone through a lot this year as you've adapted to your new life. Sending hugs your way.

Anniversaries -- the first Christmas, the first birthday, the first anniversary -- are always hard. The first year is probably the worst.

Much love and good wishes to you in your current life. :)

Thinking of you.
I've never been through this, but can only imagine that it's harder than I can imagine.

How how did I miss you yesterday M?
IM so sorry. I missed the anniversary. I wish you would share more about your husband on the blog, but that's probably hard to do. We'd love to hear about him!!

Both of you remain in my prayers, Marguerite. Hard to believe it's been a year already. That's a great picture of Bob, he was a good looking man. Sending lots of affection and hugs your way. God be with you.

I read last year's post while on vacation, and I remember that I could not shake the heavy heart all day. A pebble at a time, you have moved mountains in one year. Thinking of you, Marguerite, and so happy to have your blog as a weekly pleasure again.
