Pointelle Socks Finished


Although these socks aren't as pretty as I thought they were going to be before I started knitting them, I'm happy with them. And, I'm very happy they're done so I can move on to something else.

Pattern: Pointelle from Knit.Sock.Love by by Cookie A. Size small.

Yarn: Stalwart Sock from Slackford Studio. 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon 4 Ply Fingering Weight Sock Yarn.

Color: Old Rose.

Needles: Options 2.25mm circulars.

Gauge: 8 stitches/inch, 10 rows/inch in stockinette.

Well, I think they are quite pretty! I was saving up to buy the book, but then got the opportunity to register for a workshop with Cookie A. I decided to take the workshop, just for the chance to meet her and see what she's like. Hopefully I'll be able to get the book before then.

I think they are just fantastic! I don't have her 2nd book - but now I feel tempted! I love the soft rose color also. Just gorgeous.

My first thought when I scrolled down and saw just the picture was, "Wow, what a gorgeous pair of socks!"

Wait until they've been off the needles for a week or three, and you'll see it too!
