The little White-breasted Nuthatch prefers to hunt his food from an upside down position.When they visit a hanging seed feeder, they come down the side of the house upside down to approach it.
It takes all the fun out of the hunt to simply land on a board and have seed all around his feet. 
But he decides it's OK to eat some anyway.
