As we drove into Westport Village this morning for a meeting with Kelli, the amazing lady who helps us know what we want, we noticed that the framers were working on the house.
After our meeting, we headed down to see what was going on. Three people working and one wall up.
More walls are built or in the process of being built, but aren't up yet.
For lack of knowledge of the correct name, I'm calling this equipment the lifter. It has boards on it in staging mode. Not sure where they are going to be used.
The two men and one woman are seriously loaded down with tools.
Meanwhile in the rear of the house, backfilling of the trench is happening.
This is looking nice. Wonder how much he'll get done today.
Framers don't let a little rain stop them. Put an umbrella over the tools and keep working.
Unfortunately it wasn't too long after this that the sky got very dark and there was lightening and heavy rain. We were home by then, but doubt much more got done this afternoon.
Planning another trip out tomorrow.
