Second Mild Frost

Last night we had the second mild frost of autumn.

Heading to church at 9:00 am this morning, I warmed up the car and turned on the defrosters before I could see out of the windows.

Those without rear window defrosters had to find their scraper, usually located under a seat or in the trunk after months of not being used.


That white stuff on the ground is frost.

Most of annuals can survive a mild frost but they look so pitiful by this time of year that it's a pointless victory.
